Item Details

A pairing of two reproduction classic sculptures by sculptors A. Santini and G. Ruggeri. Each one is made from a compound material, such as marble, alabaster, and resin, poured into a mold and hand finished, mounted to a black marble square base. The featured sculptures are reproductions of Hercules and Cacus by Florentine artist Bartolommeo Brandini (1493-1560) and Hercules and Diomedes from The Labours of Hercules sculpture series by Vincenzo de’ Rossi (1525-1587). Both piece feature the in-mold artists’ signatures to the backsides.
