A vintage brass rubbing of a circa 1460 piece, Sister Marguerite de Scornay, from Nivelles Abbey in Belgium This gold tone and black piece is a rubbing of one of the most famous Flemish brasses. In this image Sister Marguerite is being presented to the Virgin Mary and Child by St. Margaret. Evangelical symbols are scattered throughout the image,. The piece is presented under glass in a gold tone frame and is wired to the verso.
