A hand-knotted Indian area rug by Feizy. This wool and cotton rug is rendered in a mostly earthtone palette of mocha, camel, cocoa, cream, and blue. It features a mina khani field of kaleidoscopically arranged daisies, palmettes, sprays of flowers, leaves, and diamond shapes over mocha. The field is framed by four borders, including a wide primary border grounded in cocoa and cream, featuring a rectilinear scrolling pattern and abstract geometric motifs. Selvedges are overcast. Top and bottom finish with knotted tan cotton warp fringe. The rug is labeled on the reverse.
