An oil painting on canvas by listed Texas artist Manuel Garza (born 1940). The piece depicts a group of four turkeys standing in a field of tall yellow grass, with a green cactus and colorful trees set to the background. The work is signed in dark brown paint to the lower left and additionally signed in ink to the canvas verso. It is presented without glass in a gold tone beveled wooden frame accented with a rust colored velvet liner and embossed foliate accents. The frame verso includes a hanging wire, as well as a printed sheet with information about the artist.
