A pastel drawing of Castelvecchio. This Impressionist drawing depicts the rustic, Italian villa from a dirt road, which is lined with stone lodges overlooking clustered trees and rooftops to the distance. The earthen tones are reinforced by frenetic, energetic marks. To the lower right corner of the composition is an illegible artist signature, date (1966) and location. The drawing is presented under glass beneath layered matting in a stained wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- small debris to mat at lower right corner; abrasions to frame; paper backing torn to verso.
