An oil painting on canvas board portrait titled Maria. The work depicts a seated woman looking out to the viewer against a neutral ground. It is signed by hand to the lower right reading Van Driest. The work is presented in an ornamental painted green and gold frame with a linen liner, wired on the verso. The piece is inscribed to the verso.
