A pair of watercolor paintings on paper including The Big Barn by Ronald F. Hall and Post Rock in Kansas by Topeka artist Paul Worley (1906-2003). The first piece depicts a large rusty gray barn with multiple side buildings and an old car in the long grass of the yard. It is signed to the lower left as well as signed, titled, and dated ‘1979’ to the verso. The second depicts a tan stone building and a hill leading up to a barn in Post Rock, Kansas. It is signed to the lower right corner and titled to the lower left. Both pieces are presented behind mats and glass in frames the have wires for hanging.

Condition

- minor wear to both frames; label on back of Paul Worley piece is torn; backing paper removed on Ronald Hall piece; wire hanger is oriented incorrectly.

- measures frame of “Post Rock”; visible work measures: 19.75" W x 12.75" H; frame of “The Big Barn” measures: 27.5" W x 21.5" H x 1.0" D; visible work measures: 17.75" W x 11.75" H.
