Terry Burleson Acrylic Paintings of Quail

Item Details

A pair of acrylic paintings featuring quail by Terry Burleson. The larger of the two features three quail in a patch of long grass. The smaller depicts the head and neck of two birds, one male and one female. The pieces are pained using water mixed with the paint, causing some areas to resemble watercolor. Both are signed and dated ‘Burleson 74’ to the lower left. A business card for the artist is affixed to the verso of one piece. Both are presented behind double mats and glass in beveled wood frames that are wired for hanging.

Condition

- light toning to paintings and mats; abrasions and wear to frames, more significantly on larger piece.
