Blue Wedgwood Japserware Christmas Plate and Blue Hummel Bell
Item Details
A blue Wedgwood Christmas Jasperware plate and a blue Hummel bell ornament. The surface of the collector plate reads ‘Christmas 2000’ and depicts ‘The Flight Into Egypt’ with Joseph leading Mary and the Child. Cherubs with garlands decorate the rim. The plate is marked to the base in the surface ‘Wedgwood – J – Made in England’. The decorative bell ornament, without a clapper, depicts a small angel carrying a candle. The piece is marked to the interior ‘Hum 786 – Final Edition in Series III – The M. J. Hummel – Christmas Bell Series – 1997-2000 – Goebel – Germany – 1996’.
