Item Details

A vintage crewel embroidered wool Indian area rug. Features a layered and repeated quatrefoil design to the central ground in aqua, rose, tan and brick tones. It features the same tones in the large major border which features repeated arabesque and scrollwork designs throughout. The edges of the carpet are folded over and stitched to the fabric backing of the piece. The rug retains remnants of its original tag from Gulam Mohidin to the underside.
