DiMaggio Photo with Yankee Programs

A Joe Dimaggio vintage photo in a collection of New York Yankee programs. The photo shows Joe with some Little League ball players; the original press release is attached to the back of the photo. The press release states, ‘The Press and the Public got their first look at Joe DiMaggio today since his marriage to screen star Marilyn Monroe’. The narrative continues to describe the scene which was from his television show. The Yankee programs are: 1963 Revised; (2) 1978, (2) 1980, 1971 and a 2009. There is a Mickey Mantle comic book, December 1, 1991 ‘First Issue’.

Condition

- DiMaggio photo: has red notations/marks in the white border
- comic book: back cover: tape residue at the bottom left corner and small amount of paper loss.
- programs are good, not closely inspected
- 1971 has water damage and the center fold is separated from the spine
