Item Details
A collection of ceramic folk art by Mexican artist Josefina Aguilar. This collection creates a scene of a couple sitting on a park bench beneath a coconut tree. They have been sculpted of terracotta with a gouache paint finish; each piece has been signed to the verso. Also included is the book Oaxacan Ceramics: Traditional Folk Art by Oaxacan Women by Lois Wasserspring, published in 2000, which includes works by Aguilar and others.
