Early 20th Century "North Wind" Savonarola Style Chair

Item Details

A wooden Savonarola style chair, circa early twentieth century. The chair exhibits Renaissance revival influences and has a North Wind filigree carving above the fanned, pierced splat, between outward curled ears. The arms slope down and end at curled, grooved handrests. The curule frame has a carving in the center, and straight stretchers. The seat is padded and upholstered in a pale yellow fabric, and the chair is raised on casters.
