Two Framed Fans and a Linen and Lace Handkerchief
Item Details
A group of framed vintage accessories. A linen and lace handkerchief has been folded to exhibit the fine handwork and framed with a pink fabric liner and a narrow molded gold tone frame with a picture wire. The fan in the fan-shaped frame has ribs/sticks made of bone. The leaf is made of fabric that has been painted and edged and appliqued with delicate lace. The guards and sticks are also decorated in gold tone paint. The unusual gold tone frame mimics the shape of the open fan and has a picture wire to the back. The second fan has supports made of synthetic material. The rounded ends have been decorated with a design of pink and white flowers interrupted by a wavy pattern in black edged with gold. It is framed in a rectangular gold tone frame with a picture wire.
