A collection of three 19th century engravings. Featured in the lot is a print titled Preparing for School by William Unger (born 1914) after a painting by Mihaly Munkacsy (1844-1900). This piece depicts a woman and three children, with one boy reading a book and the mother holding a basket. It is signed in plate ‘Munkacsy’ to the lower right corner. The next print is titled Goose Market in Kraków after a painting by Alois Schönn (1826-1897). It depicts a crowded square in which a woman is purchasing white geese from a man with a cart and a pipe. It is signed and dated ‘A. Schönn 1869’ in plate to the lower left. The final print is after a painting by Edmund Harburger (1846-1906) and depicts a woman seated at home by a window and working on her sewing. A cat is seated on the hearth. It is signed in plate and dated ‘1883’ to the lower left. All three prints are presented behind mats and glass in frames that are wired for hanging.

- edge wear to frames; toning to mats and paper; slightly dusty; tears in paper backing.
