Oceania Style Carved Wood Figures

Item Details

A pair of Oceania style hand-carved wood figures. The tall wood sculptures are flat in profile, with carving on the fronts, and plain on the backs. Both figures are depicted with grinning faces and spiked hair, long earrings, and collar-style necklaces, wearing pants that have carved ring patterns. They have hinged wooden arms, which bend at the elbows. The legs are straight and square, and are without feet. They attached to square wood bases, and are not marked.
