A glass top dining table and a set of eight Louis XVI style side chairs by Century Furniture. The table has a round glass top resting upon a wooden frame with an openwork center composed of metal scrolls. The frame is supported by brass tone acanthus scroll legs on a diamond-shaped base with paw style feet. Each chair features a wheat sheaf shield back and a cushioned seat upholstered in beige, gray, and brown tapestry style fabric with lions, flowers, and foliate motifs. They have serpentine aprons and rise on fluted, tapered legs on arrow feet. The chairs are tagged ‘Century Hickory, N.C.’ to their undersides.
