An oil painting on canvas of a pastoral landscape. This Impressionist painting depicts a lone, rustic lodge situated on a sloped hill. It is separated from a winding dirt road by a calm river, which is connected through a wooden bridge at the center. To the lower left corner of the composition is an illegible artist signature. The painting is presented in a bronze tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- small dent to the lower left; light wear to frame finish; several minor patches of worn paint; staining to canvas verso.
