A.S.B. 1992 Bronze Sculpture After Frederic Remington's "The Mountain Man"

A 1992 reproduction cast bronze sculpture after a 1907 work in bronze by listed American artist Frederic Sackrider Remington (1861 – 1909) titled The Mountain Man. The piece depicts a trapper atop his horse as they attempt to safely navigate a steep hill. The figure is signed ‘A.S.B. 1992’ in mold to one side, with an illegible marking in mold to the opposite side. The work rests on an elliptical green marble base that includes a brass tone plaque to the front with the work title and artist’s name.

- minor wear, dust and residue to surface; small abrasion with discoloration to base; wear with rust on plaque affixed to base.
