Blue and White Copenhagen Plates and Vases
Item Details
A collection of Copenhagen plates and vases Included are two Royal Copenhagen vases. The taller vase has a ginger jar shape and is hand painted with a water’s edge scene with pine trees and blue sky and is marked ‘Royal Copenhagen, Denmark 2891-271’ to verso. A smaller, bulbous vase’s image depicts violet pansies with green stems on a pale blue base. Marked ‘Royal Copenhagen, Denmark 790A-2390 to verso. Also included are two plates.
A plate ’Bringing Home the Christmas Tree’ by Royal Copenhagen has marks on verso. A second plate ‘Christmas in the Village’ depicts a snow covered church with pond and swans and is marked ‘B & G Copenhagen Porcelain, 9074 Christmas in the Village.’
