Item Details
A silver plate tea and coffee service by Wm. Rogers. This five-piece set includes a teapot, coffee pot, covered sugar bowl, creamer, and waste bowl. These pieces feature scrolled handles with embossed acanthus leaf designs to the spouts, and a four-footed base shaped like acanthus leafs with beaded trim. The underside of each is marked ‘Wm. Roger’. The lot also includes a Wm. Rogers round serving tray in the English Gadroon pattern with etched filigree to the center, pierced edges, and gadroon repoussé trim. It is stamped ‘Wm. Rogers’ to the underside with the pattern number 170.
Condition
- light wear including surface scratches and tarnish throughout.
