A machine made Whitall Anglo Persian wool area rug. This unique rug features a rose colored field with elaborate avian, floral, and foliate motifs in colors of lavender, ivory, gray, tan, and black. The rug is also features a black border in a stylized Chinese cloud pattern along with a floral and fret guard border, plus others. This beautiful rug is finished with an applied ivory knotted fringe to the ends, and marked ‘M.J. Whitall Associates, Inc’.

- to poor, condition is consistent with age and shows signs of wear with torn edges, loss of pile, and missing fringe.
