A hand-knotted Sarouk Style wool area rug. This rug features an indigo field with all-over floral motifs with lotus blooms, flower sprays, and tulips. There is a main border in red in herati pattern with a carnation meander guard border along with others showing colors in cream, tan, pale blue, rose, red, and hunter green. This rug is finished with overcast selvedge edges with an applied short ivory wool fringe to the ends. Unmarked.
