Michael Fisher Designer Box and Vintage Jewelry Chest
Item Details
A pair of vintage wood jewelry boxes. One box is stained dark with brass trim, shaped like a treasure chest. There are lion’s heads with rings on the front and rivets. Inside is lined in yellow felt with a removable shelf. Keys and a lock are included. The second box is from Michael Fisher (signed on the base) and Heartwood Creations and named ‘Madera’. The wood type is kewazinga bubinga maple, a type of burled maple which has a wavy grain. The box has a removable half shelf inside.
Condition
Some wear to both boxes. Fabric shows dirt. Peeling of varnish.
