Leopold Moroder Hand-Carved "Peasant Lady"

A vintage statue of a peasant woman carved by Leopold Moroder in Oberammergau, Germany in 1948. The sculpture depicts a young woman in traditional clothing, one hand on her hip and the other gathering her skirt. It was hand-carved and hand-painted by noted woodcarver Leopold Moroder, and is stamped with the artist’s name and date to the underside.
