Antique George III Style Chest of Drawers, c. 1840

Item Details

An antique George III mixed wood five-drawer chest, c. 1840. This item features a burl walnut veneer to its top. Two half-length drawers are present over three graduated full-length drawers. Each drawer is dovetailed and features a figured veneer, center escutcheon, and pierced brass batwing plates with bail pulls. The sides are veneered, with a lighter veneer banding around their edges. This chest rises on bracket feet and is unmarked.
