Vintage Japanese Porcelain Ware and Pewter Ash Receiver

Item Details

A vintage Japanese porcelain ware ash receiver encased in pewter by TFF. This piece is hand painted with floral and foliate designs featuring a small blue bird perched upon a branch. In many cultures, blue birds symbolize happiness. Affixed to the rim is a brass resting lip for a cigarette. This piece is stamped “Japanese Porcelain Ware Decorated in Hong Kong TFF” to the underside.
