Antique Louis XV Style Marble Top Commode

Item Details

An antique Louis XV style commode. This piece has a rose-brown and white marble top over a chest with three stacked drawers, raised on front cabriole and back block legs. The front and sides have a parquetry veneer inlay with banded border. Each drawer has a ribbon topped eschteucheon and two wreath ring pulls. It has floral accents mounted to the knees, apron, and at the feet. The back is composed of horizontally set, unfinished boards.
