George C. Baum Oil Painting of a Snowy Farmscape
Item Details
An oil painting on canvas board of a snowy farmscape by George C. Baum (American, 1884-1974). This painterly piece depicts a figure trudging through the snow toward a low red barn, a range of hazy hills visible to the distance. The work is signed in purple to its lower left corner, and is presented in a white and gold tone molded frame with rounded corners. There is a ring for hanging to the verso along with the remnants of a label indicating this painting was shown in a Brown County, Indiana art exhibition.

- some yellowing to varnish in sky; wear to finish of frame.
