A mid-century gouache painting on paper by listed Hoosier Salon artist Burling Boaz Jr. (1891 – 1968). The piece depicts a winter landscape scene with a covered bridge over a snow-covered country road that borders a peaceful waterway. The work is rendered in muted hues of tan, grey, white and brown and is signed in black paint to the lower right. It is matted in white and presented unframed.
