Egg-Shaped Trinket Boxes Including Limoges

A collection of four egg-shaped trinket boxes. This collection includes a blue-on-white jasperware box marked ‘1981’ to the verso; a Slavic lacquered wood box with a metallic design; and two porcelain Limoges boxes. The first Limoges box has a blue-and-white floral wreath design with gilded laurel details; it is marked ‘Porcelaine Artistique F. M Limoges France, Label de Qualité, Decor Main’ to the verso. The second Limoges box depicts a heraldic coat of arms with lions rampant; it is marked ‘Limoges France, Porcelaine Décorée à la main Paris-Style’ to the verso.
