A hand-knotted and carved Shanghai Silk accent rug by Pine and Crane. This rug features a pictorial central medallion depicting a dragon with surrounding floral vase motifs in deep blue, baby blue, cream, and taupe on a deep red field. The field is enclosed by a compound border that features a floral and diamond pattern in a complementary palette. Selvedges are overcast and ends finish with long ivory wool warp fringe. The rug is labeled on the reverse.
