Item Details
A selection of Japanese coasters. This selection includes two sets of coasters in different designs including a black plastic set in a round container featuring six coasters with a variety of foliate and floral designs in gold tone with gilt tone trim. The base of the container is marked ‘Aizu’ (会津) alongside ‘S.S.’ Also included in this selection is a set of five cream colored wooden coasters with the gold tone character meaning ‘longevity’ (壽) with gold tone trim. These item come with a square wooden case marked ‘Japan’ to the side.
Condition
- one of the black coasters has two substantial chips to the rim; one white coaster has a large chip to the rim.
