A vintage hand-knotted Bijar wool runner. The scarlet colored field of the rug features three blue lozenge medallions. Also decorating the field is an allover herati pattern in cream, rose, navy and beige tones and set of navy colored spandrels. Finishing out the rug is a principal meandering boteh border and selvedge finished sides and hand-tied cotton warp fringe. Unmarked.
