A late-seventeenth-century edition of The Book of Common Prayer and Administration of the Sacraments and other Rites and Ceremonies of the Church According to the Use of the Church of England. This edition of the Book of Common Prayer includes the text of the Act of Uniformity for Publick Prayers of 1662; the book also includes psalms and prayers in metered verse. The thick book is bound in full leather over wooden boards with pressed cover decoration and brass corner brackets and latches.
