Item Details
A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Arak accent rug. This wool rug features a mirrored design incorporating two vases, sprays of flowers, lancet leaves, and a central medallion over a merlot-colored field. The palette is merlot, midnight blue, brown, and cornsilk. Framing the field are compound borders, including a meandering floral main border grounded in midnight blue. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at one end with short cotton warp fringe, while the other end finishes with a short kilim skirt and no fringe. Unlabeled.
