A mixed media work on canvas by artist Manual Avedan, titled Protoforma II. This work depicts a wedged circle to the center, which is filled with rectangles perforated with holes. This is set against horizontal bands stacked against a flat yellow margin. The textural composition appears to be cut paper coated in plaster and applied with encaustic. To the top right corner is an artist signature. The work is presented in a stained wooden frame with hanging wire, a printed tag and artist signature to the verso.
