A 1984 stone lithograph by Robert Remsen Vickrey (American 1926 – 2011) titled Wooden Ponies. The four-color print depicts fragments of carousel horses and their shadows. It is signed and numbered 21/40 to the lower right and mounted under glass with brown and ivory layered mats in a stained wooden frame that is wired for hanging. Attached to the verso is a letter from the Tamarind Institute in New Mexico describing in detail way in which the work was printed and signed by the artist and the printer.
Condition
- minor wear to frame finish; lower left joint is slightly separated.
