Navajo Style Sterling Silver Turquoise Ring and Stickpin

Item Details

A sterling silver turquoise ring and stickpin crafted in a Navajo style. The ring features a stabilized turquoise cabochon housed in a sawtooth bezel, set in an oval frame with carved accents and applied raindrop motifs. Both double split shoulders are adorned with fanned crescent-shaped motifs. It is stamped with a sun symbol hallmark, as well as with, ‘Sterling’ on verso of the head. The stickpin also features a turquoise cabochon, accented by a rope twist border, and an applied leaf and raindrop. The pin does not bear any hallmarks, but tested as sterling silver with a base metal pin stem and clutch. The total approximate group weight, inclusive of all materials, is 0.360 ozt.
