Japanese Kyugetsu Dolls

Item Details

A pair of Japanese Kyugetsu dolls. This collection includes a geisha carrying a parasol and one carrying paper ‘water buckets.’ Each doll wears traditional dress in patterned silk and has porcelain features. Both rest on black stands marked ‘Kyugetsu Doll, Tokyo, Japan, Made in Japan’ to the verso, and have wooden labels in calligraphy.
