A Franklin MInt humpback whale. The realistic black and white porcelain whale is supported on a crystal base resembling water. The crystal is marked ‘Made in Germany’. The piece comes with a pamphlet titled ‘The Humpback Whale by Richard Ellis – The Franklin Mint’ which states that The Humpback Whale ‘is an original work of art…crafted in hand-painted porcelain and full-lead crystal’. The pamphlet is dated ‘1990 FM’.
