A hand-knotted Indo-Oushak area rug. This wool rug is rendered in a palette of camel, salmon, and caramel. It features a Turkish Oushak-style design beginning with a camel-colored, stylized herati field with oversized palmettes amid flowering branches, florets, and lancet leaves. The field is framed by four borders, including a wide herati primary border over salmon. Selvedges are overcast. Ends finish with ivory cotton warp fringe. The rug is unlabeled.
