A Franklin Mint porcelain grizzly bear. The work depicts a grizzly reaching over wood tree trunks with its sharp claws outstretched and teeth bared. The porcelain piece rests on an oval wood base from which it can be removed. It is marked to the base ‘Grizzly – Hand-Painted on Fine Porcelain by the Craftsmen of the Franklin Mint – An Official Issue of the National Wildlife Federation – 1988 NWF – Crafted in Taiwan’. The work comes with a ‘Certificate of Authenticity’.
