A hand-knotted semi-antique Persian mir-a-boteh Seraband carpet runner. This long wool constructed runner features a repeating boteh pattern in red and blue on a red field. It has a coordinating compound border with a traditional Saraband pattern in the primary band with figural women in the design, and it has overcast edges with natural warp ends. A tag on the back reads ‘Made in Iran. Hand Woven.’
