Item Details

A vintage highboy by Berkey & Gay Furniture. This mahogany piece has a center cabinet door with diamond matched veneer, highlighted in the center by a fan and scroll detail of light burlwood and flanked by reeded sides. Inside the cabinet are three shelving tiers. It has a single drawer over scalloped apron. The front legs have a trumpet turning; they are connected to the back block legs with an H-stretcher. The maker’s mark is to the interior of the drawer and a pasted tag is on the back.
Matching sideboard is item 17STA059-002, matching buffet is item 17STA059-004, and matching table and chairs are item 17STA059-005.
