Vintage Chippendale Style Ribbon-Back Dining Chairs with Needlepoint Seats

A group of eight vintage Chippendale style ribbon-back dining chairs with needlepoint seats. Each mahogany chair features four curved, horizontal splats with ringed center rising on curved stiles. The needlepoint seat covers depict a tree surrounded by various animals, monogrammed ‘HR’, and dated 1932. Each rises on straight legs joined by a perimeter stretcher. Two of the eight chairs feature serpentine armrests rising on curved supports. There are no visible maker’s marks.
