An antique Persian Shiraz area rug. This wool rug features a center medallion in shades of gold, powder blue, bronze and indigo on a geometric patterned, pale salmon colored field. The field is bounded by blue spandrels and surrounded by a thin geometric border with a red selvedge edge. The far ends have off-white fringe, and the rug is unmarked.
