Item Details
A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Zanjan area rug. This wool rug features a center medallion in shades of scarlet, indigo, chocolate, burnt orange, sage and white on a patterned scarlet field, bounded by spandrels in a palette of similar colors. The field is surrounded by a carnation meander major border within running water minor borders. The far ends have close-cropped white cotton fringe, and the rug is unmarked.
