An antique hand-knotted Persian Zanjan area rug. This wool rug features a center medallion in shades of red, gold, powder blue and black on a red field bounded by principally black spandrels. The field is surrounded by a principally black border with floral motifs. The far ends have white cotton fringe, and the rug is unmarked.
