The Victorian era print depicts a young girl crying in the corner with her doll laying on the ground in front of her and a collie dog standing near in protection. The print is signed in plate ‘C. Burton Barber 1893’ to the bottom left. The print titled ‘The Pleader’ is framed behind glass with a carved wood frame and hunter green matboard.
